Mike de Roover becomes Head of Bushcraft & Open-Fire Cooking
What started as a collaboration is now official: Nomad Fire Co. has acquired Rewilding.be. Last week, we sealed the deal together with bushcraft expert Mike de Roover.
Earlier this month, we announced a partnership. But it quickly became clear that a full acquisition was the better fit – one that aligned with our shared values: getting back to the roots of outdoor living, open-fire cooking, and reconnecting with nature.

Mike is a Belgian bushcrafter and wild foraging expert with a deep passion for teaching people how to live with nature instead of apart from it. As the founder of Rewilding.be, he has guided countless people into the world of self-reliant outdoor living. He’s also a familiar face on PlattelandsTv, where he shares his knowledge of bushcraft and wild edibles.
Whether it’s making fire from scratch, cooking with wild herbs, or sleeping under the stars, Mike brings raw skills and honest storytelling – which makes him a perfect addition to the Nomad Fire Co. team.
